» Volunteers working 4 hours or more receive a staff shirt that serves as a uniform and access in arena areas.
Below are some of the various volunteer positions available during Charlotte Copperheads events.
Greeters
Volunteers meet the fans / players and referees upon arrival and assist them with game information and connect them to their appropriate place in the arena.
Game Operations
Your responsibilities may include working with the: stat table, penalty box, equipment manager, referees, half time entertainment, and other game production activities.
Pre-game/Half-Time Entertainment
Possible duties include staffing the Information Booth, assisting with the Pregame Festival activities, competitions during breaks and half-time on the turf and throughout the building.
Team/Equipment Assistant
Support the Equipment Manager, Assistant General Manager and Team as they prepare for and compete in the game.
Video Production
Volunteers are needed to assist in filming the game for evaluative/scouting purposes. Some video camera experience is preferred.
Merchandise
Help work the Merchandise table on the concourse.
The Copperheads’ Lounge
This Hospitality Lounge area is open to VIP Guests, Sponsors, Family and Friends of the Players. There will be a brief meet and greet before the game with Copperheads’ players and coaches. Following the game this will be the place for players to connect with VIP guests.
Turf Workers
As a turf worker you will be asked to be at the Arena early in the week of the Game, Then available after the game. You will assist with rolling out the turf in the arena and rolling up the turf after the game. Expect to be at the Arena for 3 hours to put the turf down and 2 hours to roll it up.
Wear work jeans and work shirt, comfortable sneakers or boots will work fine. Bring Work gloves if you can. Turf workers will receive complementary tickets to the game for their assistance.
