Graham D’Alvia | President

College: Susquehanna, ’90 | Hometown: Croton-on-Hudson, NY

D’Alvia served as president of U.S. Indoor Lacrosse (USIL) since 2006; he has spearheaded the growth of indoor lacrosse in the United States with the formation of the U.S. Developmental Team, the USIL Combine, along with other programs and leagues. D’Alvia previously helped start the men’s and women’s programs at Susquehanna University and over the last 10-plus years, has played and coached lacrosse at the highest levels in countries around the world.

Tom Ryan | Head Coach

College: Bowdoin, ’93 | Hometown: Canton, NY | Twitter: @copperheadslax

A nine-year National Lacrosse League veteran, Ryan amassed 202 points in 95 career games. Ryan played for the Boston and Baltimore NLL franchises before joining Philadelphia, where he was an assistant captain and a member of their 2001 World Championship team. He played for the New Jersey Pride in Major League Lacrosse’s inaugural season. He recently completed his second stint as head coach of the U.S. Indoor Team that completed in the World Championships in Prague in May 2011. Ryan registered an 18-14 record and two straight playoff berths in the NLL Playoffs as the head coach of the Boston Blazers in 2009-10. Ryan was an All-American attackman at Bowdoin College, where he is still the all-time leading scorer with 315 points. He is a member of the Canton High School and Bowdoin College Hall-of-Fames.

Mark Burnham | Assistant Coach

College: Syracuse, ’84 | Hometown: Syracuse, NY

Burnam grew up outside Syracuse and played at Henniger High School, where his team won the 1980 New York State Championship and he received team’s Most Valuable Player.  Attending Syracuse University, he was a member of the 1983 Division I National Championship team.  Mark played professional box lacrosse for the Buffalo Bandits, Rochester Nighthawks and Syracuse Smash of the Major Indoor Lacrosse League. He also played in the Canadian Indoor Lacrosse League for the Tuscarora Thunderhawks and Akwasasne Thunder.  He is a five-time member and team captain of the Iroquois World Cup National Team and was the assistant coach-defense for the Iroquois Nation Team competing in England in 2010.

Chris McCartan | Assistant Coach

College: Syracuse, ’98 | Hometown: Buffalo, NY | Twitter: @mccartan18

McCartan was a member of Syracuse University’s national championship winning lacrosse team in 1995.  He also served as team captain. A partner at the Law Offices of Powers McCartan during the day, McCartan also spends his spare time coaching youth lacrosse in Cabarrus County.

Kim Norton | Head Trainer

College: Wingate, ’00 | Hometown: Newark, NY

Norton has a master’s degree in clinical exercise physiology from UNC Charlotte and is a Certified Nutrition Specialist through the American Academy of Sports Dietitians & Nutritionists (AASDN). Norton played soccer and complete her bachelor’s degree in athletic training at Wingate University. After graduating, she became an Athletic Trainer for Charlotte Eagles professional soccer team and a Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at UNC Charlotte. Norton is also the co-owner of Balance Fitness Studio in Charlotte.

 

 

C.J. LeFebvre | Head Equipment Manager

LeFebvre was a four-year starter in college, a 2001 NCILA All-American. He also holds a bachelor’s degree in sports management from Pfeiffer University.
